The restaurant Louis C. Jacob was redesigned at the same time as the bar and the living hall of the hotel on Elbchaussee in May 2016.
In all areas, existing furniture was combined with subtly coordinated colour tones and elegant, comfortable furniture to create a contemporary, timeless whole. New furniture as well as a selection of existing furniture was upholstered with selected high-quality fabrics. Occasionally sofas shine in bottle green or lavender.
In addition, the existing lighting concept was improved by accentuating the rather uniform lighting with new or supplemented lamps. In addition to a multitude of new wall lights, the time-honoured chandeliers have been given little bonnets.
The melodious composition of style, proportions, material, colours and lighting concept creates a fresh and at the same time dignified atmosphere and connects with the valuable, listed building without dominating it.
